Houston Methodist Hospital Emergency Department Adds PatientTrak Text Messaging

Houston Methodist Hospital, the system’s flagship, is consistently listed among U.S. News & World Report’s best hospitals, has expanded its use of PatientTrak.net by adding patient text messaging to its Emergency Department.  The text messaging system is being used in various ways to communicate with patients, letting them know status and when staff is ready to take them into treatment areas.  Houston Methodist uses PatientTrak.net to track thousands of daily patient visits throughout dozens of departments and facilities in the greater Houston area.
